My favorite subjects are those found in nature, but I also love taking pictures of animals (especially our dogs) and food. In case you're wondering, I shoot with:
* Nikon D50 DSLR body (discontinued), with 18-55mm kit lens and 55-200mm zoom lens
* +1, +2 and +4 macro filters, polarizing filter, neutral density filter
* Vivitar tripod

Oh this is special. I really like the second photo a lot.
Thanks for the information on the bird. I was at Cornell's and looked but was hoping this isn't a variation but a real species. lol No such luck I guess.
