Shadows

I can never predict what will attract my attention for a photo. Anything is game, really. Like this rock along the lake shore, with nearby vegetation casting a shadow onto it.

Original on the left, a sepia-toned version on the right.

Those are a lot of fun. I love it when I have my "camera eyes" on and find something unique like that to photograph. Nice find!

...beautiful shadows. They look like hints of butterflies and fairies.

My husband has a great eye on such details like shadows or patterns on sand that he sometimes asks me to capture. So I envy both of you for I usually chase birds and fail to pay attention to such simple yet amazing things )

Michele - I like that phrase, having your "camera eyes" on.

Kelly - Interesting, I actually saw some ghosts and goblins in there...!

flyingstars - Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

Aluajala - You know it's weird, I always feel something "click" in my brain that turns my attention away from the birds and flowers to make me pay attention to the "other stuff." Glad you like.
