I'm Heather, and I consider myself in the "serious hobbyist" category of photography. My favorite subjects are those found in nature, but I also love taking pictures of animals (especially our dogs) and food. In case you're wondering, I shoot with:
* Nikon D50 DSLR body (discontinued), with 18-55mm kit lens and 55-200mm zoom lens
* +1, +2 and +4 macro filters, polarizing filter, neutral density filter
* Vivitar tripod

If it's not a secret did you get such effect by using photoshop filters?
Aluajala - Thank you, I'm glad you liked them. No secrets here, I did use Photoshop filters. Unfortunately I'm not quite sure of the name of the filters. I think one is "diffuse" and the other one might be something like "fuzzy." (It's been so long since I created these, and I didn't leave myself very good notes.)
....I started playing with photoshop filters lately. I love them.....and I love your photos here. Very cool...
